About me

Marta Dziabiola, a UX/UI designer, smiling

I am a UX/UI Designer and Researcher based in Vienna, Austria 🇦🇹

Passionate about the intersection of user-centred design, co-design, and AI, I enjoy working on complex web and mobile products.

I’m always open to discussing accessibility, multimodal interaction, the latest research methods, and anything AI-related. Feel free to connect with me on LinkedIn!

UX/UI Design

I enjoy prototyping, whether it be creating features from scratch or refining existing designs. My focus is on crafting user-friendly products that provide value to both the end-users and stakeholders.

Research

Isn't it rewarding to see people interact with the products you have designed? Co-creation and user-centred design are my preferred approaches, as they actively involve users in the design process.

My journey

I'm a UX/UI Designer at dmcgroup in Vienna, Austria, and I currently lead the design efforts for the interface of a blood measuring software project for health professionals

I have had the pleasure of working with SaaS startups such as KNOWRON and ChallengeRocket, as well as the Centre for Human-Computer Interaction at the University of Salzburg. My experience also includes working with Nokia for a short period of time, which initially sparked my interest in digital technologies.

I hold an MSc in Human-Computer Interaction from the University of Salzburg and the Salzburg University of Applied Sciences, Austria. During my studies, I was part of the industry project design team at Eurofunk. Additionally, I have an MA in Communication Management from the University of Wroclaw, Poland.

When I’m not busy with design and research, I enjoy bouldering, participating in the local UX book club, and doing photography. Recently, I developed an interest in designing for health. My health innovation challenge team won the second place in the EIT Health i-Days Final Competition at the European level. For this reason, I am currently working on a hobby project for allergy suferrers called Wija.

If you are a Human-Computer Interaction nerd (same ✋), you might be keen to read some of the research papers I've co-authored:
